Hey guys! As promised in yesterday’s haul post (which you should go read if you haven’t yet, it’s all about the lovely stuff I bought from Makeup Revolution!), here’s my comparison of the Iconic 1 with the Naked 1 palette.
By the way, applying your eyeshadow while trying to remain in focus is WAY harder than it seems. 🙂 It’s also my first video of this kind, and filming and editing was a bit of a challenge, so please be patient. 🙂 I WILL try to get better at it! 🙂 It was also not intended as a tutorial so I didn’t explain some of the steps (mainly parts where all I did was blend like crazy) – just let me know if you’d like to see a tutorial and I’ll go slower and break it down further. 🙂
Here are some more pics of the palettes side by side, and the swatches!
As you can see, the Naked 1 satin shimmer shades are just slightly more pigmented when swatching them. However once I applied them, I could barely tell which one was which!
Overall I’d say this is a brilliant dupe, and definitely worth checking out for anyone who find the Naked palettes a bit out of their budget, or even just to see whether the shades would suit you before taking the plunge and spending that much money on a palette!
